Worker freedom in Kansas – Episode 14

Kansas is a right-to-work state, which means employees of unionized companies or government entities have the right to choose whether to join the union and pay dues. But at least one Johnson County legislator wants to make union membership mandatory and is proposing a constitutional amendment to repeal Right to Work in Kansas and make union membership mandatory.

Join Host Dave Trabert and special guests, nationally-recognized labor policy expert Vince Vernuccio, who is a senior fellow at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy in Michigan and Lee McGrath who is one of the nation’s leading experts on occupational licensing and Senior Legislative Counsel with Institute for Justice.
